Integrated washing machine capacities start from 6kg, with the largest available being a 9kg drum. Check the specifications of your replacement options to make sure you get the capacity that you need.
Fittings and measurements
Integrated washing machines are usually placed behind a fitted cabinet door, meaning the key measurement you’ll need to take is the depth. The depth of integrated washing machines ranges from 55cm to 60cm, but make sure you leave an extra 3cm behind the washing machine for pipes.
Wash programmes and extra features
Most washing machines come with quick wash, wool, and anti-allergy programmes. Look out for these and more when comparing your replacement options.
You can also find models with sensor drying, a feature that calculates a unique drying time for each load. A number of washing machines even have special motors that use magnets instead of brushes to reduce noise.
Semi-integrated options
Semi-integrated washing machines have a cupboard door fitted, but you can still see the top control panel. In all other respects they are the same as fully integrated washing machines.
