After you've got the speakers you want to build your sound system around, you need to be on the hunt for amplifiers and source components in order to complete your set.
You'll probably want to make sure the sound from your television, DVD/Blu ray player and games consoles comes out of your new setup, so make sure you have all the right cables and connections to make this happen.
And if you're going to want to play records - which big music fans argue is the best way to listen to music - then you'll also need to buy a turntable.
Shop around
When you're building your perfect sound system, it really does pay off to shop around and make sure you are getting the best possible deal.
